It hit me this morning that I need to get cracking to get ready for a major trip to South America in March, 2013. I will be taking Carnival Splendor on its final leg of 
a repositioning cruise from Buenos Aires to New York City. I’ve been so busy with work on my other projects, I haven’t had the chance to allow myself to get excited about this trip – in fact – it almost slipped my mind.
However…. Now that I DID think about it, I’m starting to get very excited about this trip. Yes, it’s a bit long (total cruise time in 18 days plus I’m staying in Buenos Aires several days prior to departure) but, then again, this isn’t the average cruise. Repositioning cruises are wonderful because you get to visit ports of call that the cruise line doesn’t normally make on it’s regular routes.
